Error 'Invalid Project Protection' while Deploying or Executing Data Warehouse¶

Symptoms¶

Error while deploying or executing the data warehouse in Timextender after a server upgrade. Error Message received:

Resolution¶

To resolve the "Invalid Project Protection" error, follow these steps:

1. Export the Project:¶

• Open the project in Timextender.
• Use the "Export" option to export the project to an XML file.

1. Send the Project to Support:¶

• Send the exported XML file to support@timextender.com for them to remove the project protection.

1. Import the Unprotected Project:¶

• Once you receive the unprotected project XML from support, import it back into Timextender.
• Overwrite the current project with the unprotected version.

1. Activate Timextender with the Correct License Code:¶

• Ensure that Timextender is activated using the correct license code. The original license code should be used to unlock the project.

1. Deploy and Execute the Project:¶

• Redeploy and execute the entire project to ensure all changes are applied correctly.
