Symptoms¶

User can execute entire process instead of selected processes

Cause¶

The user was assigned a role that granted access to all processes, allowing them to execute all processes instead of just specific executions.

Resolution¶

To restrict a user to only run specific executions without access to the entire process, follow these steps:

1. Do not assign any role under the “Roles” tab, as roles grant users rights to everything regarding processes.
2. Set the "View System" permission under the “System” tab to the preferred system.

3. Select the specific Executions that the user should have access to.

After setting the correct permissions, the user may need to wait a while and log in again due to caching.
